Capstone Display
Had my show on Monday the 6th, I’m no photographer, but here are some pictures of my display. Rather simple (and cost effective), but I’m not one for going over the top with props like some people in my class (man, their displays were impressive though).
I’ll post individual packaging photos whenever I get those edited and color-balanced.

Stationery Set (final)
Made the cougar smaller and added details to the animal illustrations.
Stationery set I’ve got in the works. Trying to keep it in the same vein as the annual report and packaging via texture.. but using a different graphic style to keep it individual. We’ll see what my prof says today.
My Capstone packaging and display table gear is kind of taking over our apartment. Roomie, I sincerely apologize.
Matt surprisingly said I have enough.. but I’m still planning on doing a bit more. A coloring book (and possibly box of crayons to accompany it), a postcard set, and a box for my ‘dvd’ set….. Need to get those done soon. Yeesh.
Some progress on my packaging. Had to take a photo for the Capstone submission in the TSU Senior Portfolio (oh boy!), so I figured I’d upload.
So far I have two bags, some tags, and a dvd case (not pictured because it was just too sad so show). Going to have a lot more. I need to get on that. Sigh.
Magazine/Newspaper Ads
The color ads sized for Nat Geo and the b/w size is kind of made up for 1/4 page newspaper ad.
Was going for a play on the saying ‘You can’t see the forest for the trees’.. but I feel like I need some sort of punctuation at the end of mine. I dunno. Something isn’t quite coming together between imagery, text, and concept.
Yellowstone National Park Annual Report
Some of the pages probably need revising (Programs page is too busy, I think), but I like it in general. And my prof liked it too, which is always a good thing.
I’ll upload my final logo and my some of my logo process later (need to go back in and clean up my vector majorly). Oh my gosh, so much process….
Florida Fish and Wildlife Stationery Set
This is mostly finished. There are some things my prof wanted me to change that I agree with, but we’re done and I’m not messing with it right now. Maybe later.
Kind of an annoying assignment, but I think that turtle watermark turned out pretty cute. Haha.
So weird he wanted us to do the back of the letterhead though. Ping was up in arms in Viscom IV about how unprofessional it is to design the back (waste of money). /sigh Professors…
So we each had to come up with a design for our BFA Show in May and then we got to vote on them.
Type at the bottom still needs work, of course… because I was lazy and put it together in photoshop instead of indesign. However, I didn’t get picked, so I don’t have to rework mine (yay).
More grids. Ugh.
At least Matt kind of gave up on getting good ones out of us.
